Online dog training

Online coaching for real-life dog problems.

If you found Trail & Heel through a training video, this is the way to get direct help with your own dog. We use a video call, optional clips, clear homework, and private demo videos made for your situation.

Video, plan, follow-through

You do not need to guess from a public video. The coaching is based on your dog, your home, and the problem you are seeing.

What this is

Practical help without needing to be local.

You can send videos if you have them. You do not have to. We can also talk through what is happening, look at your setup, and build the first steps from there.

Video call coaching

We talk through the problem, your routine, your dog, and what needs to change first.

Optional clip review

If you have videos, send them. They can make leash work, overexcitement, or handling issues easier to diagnose.

Custom demo videos

When a visual example would help, I can make a private video showing exactly how I would approach the skill.

Goals and homework

You leave with specific next steps, not a vague list of tips. The plan can live in your Trail & Heel portal.

Good fits

  • Leash pulling, leash biting, and loose leash walking
  • Puppy routines, crate comfort, settling, and confidence
  • Overexcitement around doors, visitors, dogs, or busy places
  • Better follow-through between training sessions
  • Owners who want a clear plan before they start practicing

Not the right first step

  • Urgent safety situations
  • Active bite-risk cases
  • Medical concerns or sudden behavior changes
  • Severe aggression that needs hands-on support

If the case really needs someone local, I can still help you understand what kind of trainer or veterinary behaviorist to look for.

FAQ

Common questions about online coaching.

Do I need to send videos?

No. Videos are helpful, but they are optional. If you have clips, send them. If not, we can start by talking through what is happening.

What happens after the call?

You get specific goals, homework, and follow-up notes. When a visual example would help, I can make a private demo video for your dog and the problem you are working on.

How much does online coaching cost?

The first 15-minute consultation is free. After that, different packages are available, with support starting at $25.

Is this for aggression or urgent safety problems?

Not as a first step. Online coaching is not the right fit for urgent safety situations, active bite-risk cases, medical concerns, or severe aggression that needs hands-on support.

Can you help me find someone local?

Yes. If the case needs a local trainer or veterinary behaviorist, I can help you understand what kind of professional to look for.

Start simple

Tell me what is going on with your dog.

Include your dog's age, the problem you are seeing, what you have tried, and any video links if you have them. If online support is not the right fit, I will say that.
